Step 1: Pass FMGE/NEXT Exam

β NEXT (if applicable from 2024 onward).
Step 2: Complete Internship in India
β Students must do 1-year compulsory internship in an NMC-approved hospital in India.
β Internship is required for medical registration in India.
Step 3: Apply for Permanent Medical Registration
β After passing FMGE/NEXT and completing the internship, apply for permanent medical registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC).
Step 4: Apply for Jobs or NEET-PG for Specialization
β Start working as a licensed doctor in India.
